Q. How can I get a book or article that the UVI Libraries do not own?

You can request the item through Interlibrary Loan. The Library will attempt to borrow the item from another library, anywhere in the world.

Current UVI students, faculty, and staff are eligible to use Interlibrary Loan services.

To fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request Form, click on the appropriate campus and item type below:

You will be contacted when your item arrives.  

Please allow up to 2 weeks for articles and up to 4 weeks for books, although it's often much faster!
