Information literacy refers to the ability to to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively and responsibly. This skill set comprises the focus of UVI’s library instruction program. The libraries offer these workshops for students to prepare them for critical thinking and college-level research.  

Library instruction workshops are mandatory for FDS100, SSC100, and SCI100, and offered upon request by faculty. Please see the document below for more information.
